Q: What is the IEM class schedule?

A:

Q: Why are IEM programs effective?

A:
The I-Math and Smart Steps programs are tested and proven methods from India. Our unique curriculum is designed according to the way a young child thinks and understands math. The concepts are introduced to students when they are right-brain dominant and the created memories are long-lasting.

Q: Why should I enroll my child at IEM?

A:
IEM programs lay the foundation for organized creative thinking and truly opens up the potential of the right brain. Children who undergo this training emerge as "whole brain" thinkers, equipped with sound mathematical and procedural knowledge that ultimately enhances IQ.

Q: How are IEM programs different from others?

A:
Unlike other organizations that narrowly address "problem areas," IEM is not a tutoring center. Our students build powerful thinking skills through rigorous lessons that supplement their experiences in school and in life. Instead of a short-term fix, our programs grow long-term results. No memorization, nor redundant homework here.

Q: How much is tuition?

A:
IEM tuition varies by location. Please contact your nearest IEM for rates and the latest promotions.

Q: How many students in each class?

A:
Each class has a maximum capacity of 10 students. Two highly qualified and expertly trained teachers are dedicated to each class. This student-teacher ratio provides the ideal learning environment for our specialized work.

Q: What is the class schedule?

A:
We open a new class when a minimum of 5 students enrolls for the same level, space permitting. An incoming student can join a class up to 6 weeks after its start date. Individual catch-up classes are required to cover missed material.

Q: How soon will I see results for my child?

A:
Naturally, every child is different. Our programs develop long-term results, which means you probably wonユt see an instantaneous difference in your child. On average, IEM students show significant growth in their thinking processes and explanations 10 to 12 weeks into the program. If you have questions about your childユs progress, our IEM teachers are always available and happy to share your childユs class experience with you.

Q: What if I miss a class?

A:
Make-up classes are required to cover missed material and are included in tuition. Please call your IEM office to report any absences and to schedule a make-up.

Q: Is there homework?

A:
No. An essential part of the IEM methods is making sure students fully grasp the concepts within the class time itself. There are no stressful take-home drills or redundant homework assignments.

Q: How are IEM teachers certified?

A:
All IEM teachers have completed extensive training and certification in the I-Math and Smart Steps methods with Stephanie Keiko Kong, master trainer for the US. All IEM teachers are required to have a Bachelorユs degree or equivalent, as well as professional experience in early childhood education.
